reinstall woe

I am trying to reinstall windows Me onto my laptop I go right thru the format using floppy disc then get onto the registration part of the CD windows goes thru setup and collecting information about my computer then10% into copying files to my computer it puts up an error message saying"Setup cannot copy the installation files to your computer.Click OK to exit setup." there is a message at the bottom of the grey box with the code SV0325 is there a problem with my CD or is it something I have done wrong

hope someone here can help me

will do ty Its jusdt trying to install now got to 8% so keeping my fingers crossed if cleaning didnt work I will try a new disk maybe tomorrow

hiya Dai you marvel,cleaning the disk didnt work so I did a strait copy of it using Nero reformatted again and its installed up to 13 % now thanks for your help
