Restart Won't Restart

Hope this is an easy one. When I go to restart my computer it's starts the reboot process, but freezes just after the red COMPAQ logo. I am left with a blank screen and a blinking curser. Not that it means anything but the light on my floppy 'A' drive stays lit as well at this time. Thanks for any help.

Cool Hey There ..... Chillx

This Is A Hardware Error...
You Computer Is Actually Not Responding To Cold Bootup...
Try Replacing The CMOS Battery Or Even The SMPS For proper power Supply

If This problem Hs Been There For Over A Week Or So May Be Your motherboard Might Have Been Gone Bad i.e. You Might need To Buy A New motherboard (I Hope This Is Not The Case).

To check If It Has Some Real Problem Try Installing WindowsXP
During Installation Period If Your Monitor Goes In Stand By Mode And Won't Come Out Of It Then You 've Some Serious Problem.

Change The Power Supply, Or The CMOS Battery ..... Try Again....

If There Is No Good News Then My friend get Ready To loosen Up Some Hard Cash 4 A New Motherboard

Hope Everything Goes fine
C Ya
