hi im doug and if possible i need help please.
for some reason im using yahoo messenger 8.0 version on a compaq computer with windows 98. but now as im trying to sign into it i am getting a warning that says (this program has made an illegal operation and will be closed)
i have msn messenger but i have no trouble with that one at all
my email is thank you

if you post your email the spammers will pick up on it
moved you to the correct forum
in the run box type
sfc
and press enter

Illegal operation messages occur in Windows when the computer has been unable to do something that it was trying to do

In Windows, a message box that appears telling the user that the program running has attempted to perform a function it is unable to execute for any number of reasons. Usually it refers to a function related to an error in programming.
