Task Scheduler in the Systray

I am trying to remove the Task Scheduler from the Systray. When I start regedit it just pops up and then disappears. Is there an Authorization that I need to overcome to get into regedit?

Some viruses prevent you from opening regedit. You can try different things, but I would suggest visiting
http://housecall.trendmicro.com and scanning your computer.

You could also rename regedit.exe to regedit.com and try that. Some viruses look for the process name and renaming it won't work.

Double click the icon in the system tray.

When the schedule tasks box opens click advanced then click stop using task scheduler in the dropdown box.
