Can anyone help. I have managed to loose my copy of Win 98 SE during the delightfull task of moving house. I am now trying to set up a network in my home and my laptop has decided to ask for my win 98 disk as part of the set up, hence the problem. The proccess obviously wants to load some files from the disk, will any win 98 SE disk do the job?
If push comes to shuv where can I get a new copy from? |

On old 98 computers, I have found that if you browse to c:\windows\options\cabs
that it finds the files you need there. If not, any 98 CD will do. I do not think that Microsoft supports/sells them anymore. Therefore you would have to look to buy one online.
