Hi, how can I start win98se in safe mode? Thanks..

I can't recall as it's been so long since I used it but doesn't tapping F8 while booting bring up the menu to select booting to safe mode ?

8210GUY is completely correct, tapping the F8 key shall bring you the option

yeah, or you can press and hold down <Ctrl> just after the system posts (beeps)
