DirectX 9.0c.
It doesn't work anymore with the Catalyst drivers from ATI-AMD. It worked before, even after Microsoft said that they were no longer supporting Windows 98 Second Edition. I'm using the same version of DirectX that I used before and it worked and I'm also pretty sure that I'm using the same graphics card drivers, because, well... I don't think anybody updates drivers for Windows 98 Second Edition anymore. I just reformatted too.

The file ATI2DRAG.DRV is not digitally signed, which means that it has not been tested by Microsoft's Windows Hardware Quality Labs. You may be able to get a signed driver from the manufacturer of the hardware device.
To test DirectDraw functionality, click the "Test DirectDraw" button above. To test Direct3D functionality, click the "Test Direct3D" button above. This is the message I get with DirectX 8.1 (I downgraded to see if it would work; obviously, it didn't. The message is almost the same with DirectX 9.0c.). My graphics card is an ATI Radeon 9550 AGP, which has 256MB memory. Last edited by Death; 10-31-2006 at 06:52 PM. |

That doesn't mean it won't work, it just means that particular driver is not "certified".
This is being addressed in this thread http://www.techsupportforum.com/micr...ectx-9-0c.html This thread will be closed
