Upgrading WinMe to Win2000pro

Hi guys.

I would lik to upgrade my computer from WinMe to Win2000pro. The reason for this is that my favourite game Maplestory(^_^) cant seems to work with WinMe anymore. The problem has been posted in the maplesea forums n it hasn't been solved for several months so i decided to switch windows.

My computer specs: Intel Pentium III 1.0ghz(256kb L2 Cache),2x 128mbpc133 Ram(256mb Total),20gb hard drive 4800rpm,Intel i815e Intergrated Graphics =_= (stingy acer).

Will my computer run win2000 with ease? I would lik to consult u guys first before making e switch...

Btw guys, will having a separate 1.0gb partition on e same drive be useful for win2k? wat are e tweaks for win2k?

i hav 510 perma swap file on winme. network server role enable. system restore disabled(don't need them), enable write behind caching. Sounds schemes disabled. Loadqm,MsTask,PcHealth and LoadPowerProfile disabled. are there any more tweaks?

Sorry, i meant that would a separate 1.0gb partition on e same drive (used for pagefile, virtualram) be useful for Win2k? i heard from several people that it speeds things up a little....

Here are the minimum system requirements for Windows 2000 Professional which looks like you meet them.
