Cry my mistake

my sister put aol on my computer to play games the cd came with(aol free for x amount of days) which I hate aol and she didn't know it.i went in to remove every spec of aol, using a regcleaner to remove the entries.the regcleaner i use lets you delete any entry you want. it says entries labeled "N/A" sould be ok to delete so i deleted, using the reg cleaner, every "N/A" file. a few of them wouldn't go away, so i ran regedit to remove the listed n/a files my self.when i deleted them something awful happened. every program i try to open(i mean EVERY!!) opens in notepad or it says this program is too large for notepad open in word,i click yes and it just blinks over and over everytime it click ok. i think i deleted rundll.exe by mistake because some text in notepad when it opens the program says something about rundll.exe(i think it may say run32dll.exe,and not rundll,i can't remember b/c i'm not at home) and i don't know how to get it back.i don't have the internet at home so i go to the library.
any help???pls
the only things i can open are folders and files from a cd.

My System

You may have deleted the registry entries that deal with what programs open which files.
Try opening a file by right clicking it, and selecting 'open with' or 'choose program to open with' (can't quite remember what it's called in 98). This should bring up a list of programs installed on your computer that you can open the file with.
If that does not work, you could try backing up your data, and uninstalling/reinstalling your programs.
