Reinstalling Office and updates applied
I have an annoyance where Outlook 2003 give me the error "Outlook has encountered and needs to close..." but this only happens (everytime) after i close it.
I figure I need to reinstall Office. I have applied SP2 and all updates for Office 2003. My questions: If i reinstall Office to original state, apply SP2 again will Windows XP know that the preiously applied updates to Office are not valid? Will MS update site recognize that even tho updates might be in add/remove programs, they re not valid and find the proper updates again? |

AHA !!!!! Fixed the problem! When you mentioned Winfax I went to FILES - DATA FILE MANAGEMENT and removed the Winfax Logs entry. No more error message.
BTW, the Microsoft site mentions Winfax Pro ver 10.03. There is none. I was soo disappointed when Symantec bought out Delrina. There has been no work on Winfax Pro since. An all too familiar pattern for Symantec. Thanks Anne ! |
