Japanese into Publisher- no Osaka!
The Word file uses the default font Osaka, but the IME didn't come with that font, and I can't find it anywhere. Anyone know how I can get it? I thought it was sort of a universal generic font. (And it's what the customer wants.)

Bling: Did you search the web? I found this right away:
http://www.dafont.com/font.php?file=osaka_sans_serif Also, fonts aren't a component of Office. They are installed and set up through Windows. :) |

("Osaka sans serif" is English!) The Japanese Osaka font I THOUGHT was embedded in the Word file, because it opened in Publisher as Japanese, but I didn't know at the time that another font was being substituted. I recently found out that it isn't used any more, except in the Mac system. So I switched everything to Mincho and the customer had little choice. The IME program did install the Japanese fonts. Gotta go---thanks for the response!
