Hi,
My wife has a habit of holding down the shift key while looking through documents when wordprocessing. This causes "something" that seems to make all future key strokes in upper case. I think it is something like "filter keys". We eventually get out of the mess but never remember how. Can someone tell me what is happening by holding down the shift key and then how to recover back to normal? Bill mackey77@yahoo.com |

She may well be activating 'filter keys', 'sticky keys' or another accessibility option - it can start after hitting the shift key for a certain amount of time or repeatedly.
To disable, go to your Control Panel, select Accesibilty Options and remove the ticks from the boxes you want to disable - you can also go into settings and cancel how it activates. Hope that helps :-)
