Freezing panes in Excel

Is there a simple way to freeze more than just the top and left pane selections in Excel? In other words, is it possible to "frame" the entire view of the work sheet by have frozen cells along all four sides of the view? I realize that this may sound like a silly or impossible question as the grid may be dependant on this not to work this way. (But at the risk of looking foolish, I thought that I would put it out there anyway.)

Thanks,

Scoochie

Try Window -> Split.

It is sort of having multiple splits. Maybe that will help you more than just Freeze. This is the closest i could think of to your problem. Maybe some VBA programmers might have a better idea.
