Excel Update Problem

For some reason my Microsoft Excel will not open anymore. This started to occur after downloading, or maybe only partially downloading the SP3 Office Update. Whenever I try to open Microsoft Excel, it pops up a window that says preparing to install, and then starts looking for my Office CD-Rom. The problem here is that my CD was more than likely a casualty in my recent move. I have looked everywhere and believe it was thrown away with a bunch of other stuff. So, it says it needs the file ProRet.msi which i do not have access to. So since I no longer have my CD, am I screwed? I used excel daily, and now I am like a fish without water, and its only been 3 days. Is there any way possible to perhaps turn back some of the updates so that excel works properly again?

Thanks for your help

My System

Have you tried a system restore?

Start-All Programs-Accessories-System Tools-System Restore

Pick a restore point just before the SP3 install.

If that doesn't work, contact Microsoft ... They may ship you replacement media (for a price).

Thank you so much chevy! Choosing a system restore date from last week solved the problem! Something so obvious, but yet I myself could not come up with it!
I appreciate you taking a moment of your time to reply and let me know! I know if I ever have another problem, I once again and coming right back here!
Thanks so much
John
