Putting account on "Hold"
Hi,
I am using: Microsoft Office Outlook 2003 on Windows XP Service Pack 2 build 2600, and I have the following question: My Outlook is configured to check a few accounts, some of them are mailing lists with hundreds of emails waiting after a long weekend. I want to start the send/receive process but I don't want Outlook to check those accounts, only my main account because it will take forever and I don't have time for it now. How can I configure to "put on hold" the other accounts? I don't want to delete them, just not check them for now. Any ideas? Thanks. |

Give this a try to NOT have certain accounts checked...
Go to "Tools" --> "Accounts" --> click the "Mail" tab --> click the account that you do not wish to receive from --> click "Properties" --> at the bottom make sure that the box for "Include this account in Send and Receive All" is not selected. Please let us know if this resolves the issue or if you need further assistance!
