Curiosity

Out of pure curiosity and some purpose, is there a feature in any of the MS Office programs to have an autosave feature, where the document your working on will be saved say every 30 mins?

Can that 30min value be changed?

Yes you can. In MS Word under Tools, Options, Save, Save AutoRecovery, then specify the minutes you want auto save to backup your document. I am sure Excell is much like the same way.

Hi Tom

It is the same in Excel. Tools > Options > Save Tab - you can adjust the time from there. I have mine set to 10 minutes - and I'm speaking from experience - it is vital to do this.

Regards
