Please help!!!
Every time I open up a document in office (word, excell) It shows that it installs the program each time and takes forever. I have tried to reload the software but it does not fix the problem. Another problem I found about the same time this started was I am unable to do a system restore. |

Hi spangles
Have you tried a Detect and Repair? You'll need your Office CD or else each application has it's own Repair function within the Help menu. This verifies the installation and repairs missing files and registry settings. You may need to to Repair your Windows installation if the system restore is not working. See here for a guide http://www.michaelstevenstech.com/XPrepairinstall.htm Regards

Have a look in Control Panel > Add orRemove Programmes - it will usually state what version of Office is installed. You may have to re-install completely as long as you have the CD.
Regards
