WAV program help
Hi,
I need help with the WAV program. A friend said that this was a Microsoft application, and it could be accessed on my system if I have MS Office loaded. The situation is: I have a transcriber's footpedal connected through a USB port, and need to listen to a CD playback while using this pedal. It seems the pedal is not engaging. I can listen to the CD playback through the MediaPlayer, but I need to use the WAV program in order to use the pedal. Any ideas? How can I access or load the program? Thank you! O |

WAV is a file format used for recording audio. There is a WAV-Pedal http://www.theprogrammers.com/wavp.html that sounds like what you're looking for. Did your foot pedal come with a software CD?

Re: WAV program help
When I use WAVpedal and open the file in Media it loads fine, and I can hear the audio, and see the video, but there is a huge buzz that won't go away. What do I need to do to remove the buzz? I've tried opening with DivX, Media Player 10 and Media Classic but no matter what the buzz remains. The files are .avi. I am working for 2 transcription companies and 1 uses Wavpedal and the other, though they both are .avi, he has designed his own transcription software. Because the buzz was not there earlier I think there is a conflict between the two. I've now removed the transcription software from the 1st co since the 2nd company is much more lucrative. The other software did not have the buzz. Help!
