excell-files only won't open from icons

Hi,

My excell-files won't open when i doubleclick then on my explorer or desktop. Excell opens without any errormessages, but the file won't open.

I can still open the files through open>file from that point, but it is pretty ennoying...any ideas on this?

Thanks in advance!

Do you get an error message? How about right click > open?

Hi

In Excel go to Tools > Options > General Tab and ensure that 'Ignore Other Applications' is not checked.

Regards
