Confused Going crazy - Need MS Word help

I love Word, but I am very frustrated with it: Frequently, the bottom margin resets to 2.67 inches, I put it back where I want it, BUT the bottom 2.67 inches of the page will not print, even though it shows up in "print preview". I've been using Word for several years and never had this problem before. Could it be that a 'worm' is eating MS Word?

It's probably something in your Normal.dot file. Go to :

File > Open > C:\Documents and Settings\user name\Application Data\Microsoft\Templates>>Double-click the Normal.dot file to open it. Check the page setup menu. Make any changes you want and they will be applied to documents that you create in the future.

Thanks for your suggestion. However, I don't have "administrator priviliges" here at work, and I can't even do something as simple as you suggested. I'll keep trying to fix the problem somehow, though. Unfortunately, nobody here is an 'expert' at Word, and nobody seems to care.......poor, poor me, LOLOL, sob, sob
