Don't know if this will help or not. We had a similar problem. We were running Exchange Server 2003 only for inner office emails and using pop3 for outer office. Emails weren't going out. Whenever sending an email, we soon realized that we had to click on the "Accounts" button and make sure the correct account is listed. What was happening was that inner office email was trying to send out of the office or even via our fax program. Like I said, this may not apply to you at all, but worth a check.

I think you might've misunderstood me. The computer in question, that won't send emails, is there more than one account set up on the user profile? (Go to "Tools" - "Email Accounts", etc.)If there is more than one account, delete the others, then see if email is being sent. You can always add the accounts back in later.
