Help!!!

Hi,
I have a powerpoint file (.ppt) and the only problem is I dont have Microsoft Office, I have Microsoft Works and therefore cant open it. Is there any other way I could open the ppt file in some other program? I just need to print out the slides. I dont need to modify anything. I will really appreciate your help.

Thanks

Go to Microsoft.com and search for the powerpoint viewer.

Or, install Open Office (www.openoffice.org). It will allow you top open/view/modify MS Office documents.

hi sagsd,
u could follow chevy's instructions to download openoffice which looks similar to microsoft office.

alternative, u can go to http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en to download the microsoft powerpoint viewer..so that you can be able to view the file.

Cheers:)

Sounds like the trial period is up. You can associate OpenOffice with all MS Office documents.

Right-click on a .doc file, select Open With, then Choose Program. Scoll down the list, highlight Open Office, and put a check in the box "Always use the selected program ...", then click on OK.
