Outlook automatic send/recieve problem

Hello,
I am having a problem with MS outlook's automatic send and recieve feature. I have it setup to automatically send and recieve every 5 minutes. This is not working. Does anyone know of anything that may be causing this? Any known issues with this software? I know it is setup correctly as it has the same setup as all of our other machines but this is the only one that does not work. any help is appreciated.

Thanks,

Hello and Welcome to TSF

Have you tried the Detect and Repair feature? Open Microsoft Outlook, click Help>Detect and Repair. (Have your software disc on hand)
You may have had a bad installation, or you may have some corrupt files, this will basically do what it says ...detect and repair

Post Re: Outlook Auto Mail

Greetings Paul,
By any chance are you running Norton Internet Security 2005, or any other Spam or eMail scanners/filters?
I was running NIS 2005 and had to disable the Spam and eMail scanners in order to make my Outlook 2003 work correctly.
If you are disable the eMail scanner and Spam Filter and see if that solves the problem.

Best of luck,
ultra_classic

Another thought, in Outlook, click Tools>Options>Mail Delivery>Accounts Manager click the Accounts button. You will see your account listed, highlight it and click Properties. On the General tab at the bottom make sure there is a check in the box beside include this account when receiving mail and synchronizing
