Confused Print document where a field value increments in word?

Hi, I'm new to this forum and have searched the posts to see if I could find a way to help myself before asking, but my searches have been fruitless.

I have a 3 page document that has pasted on it an excel worksheet.
Page 1 contains worksheet 1
page 2 contains worksheet 2
page 3 contains worksheet 3.

Each of these worksheets has a text block that contains a number that must be incremented... hmm let me explain.
The textbox on page 1 2 and 3 should share the same value.
Repeated printings of this document should have the textbox value increment by 1 in each of the three textboxes.

Can anyone offer some guidance here?
Thanks,
Ray

resolved

Maybe not the best way, but it works and was easy.

I did a database merge using an excel spreadsheet with the info I needed in a column.
I made an excel sheet with a column consisting of 999 rows filled with
TR001 thru TR999
Then merged the sheet into the word form.
Next I set up the area where the text needs to be on the 3 word pages and dropped the merged cell data in there.
Works like a charm.
