Word 2003

Can anyone help?

This problem although not as serious as others is very frustrating. If I scroll through a document in Word 2003 after a few seconds the computer freezes as if it's trying to do something i.e. saving the document. This also happens if I type to quickly.

Not a problem in any other application that leads me to assume it must be a Word problem.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Open up Word, click Help>Detect and Repair.

Sorry should have said I have tried that and a complete unistall and reinstall.
