Undelete Emails
Does anybody know how to recover lost emails through Outlook 2003. A girl at work deleted some emails that she needed and emtpied her deleted items folder. I was wondering if they was a way to recover these emails. We are using a microsoft exchange server but the emails are saved to the hard drive to save server space. Thanks.

Failing that, you may be able to use an undelete tool on the folder which stored the email files. I'm not sure whether MSO03 stores the emails as separate files or as one big file. If it's one big file, this won't work, but as separate files you should be able to undelete some of them at least.
NOTE: for undelete utilities to work, the section of the hard drive containing the deleted data must not be written over. Because you can't specifiy where on the HD platter windows saves files, try to use the system as little as possible until you have attempted an undelete operation. Try something like UnDelete 5.0 at MajorGeeks. This may help you.
