winword xp freezes

Hi,
When scrolling down page in winword xp the page freezes and program stops responding. I can run other programs and they work well but winword must be restarted anew. Please advice.

hi
your first step is to do a disk error check, second do an adaware se to remove spyware, and thirdly run a virus check, both housecall and avg. please post back if your problem persists [say that 5 times fast]
