Word 2003 Bookmarks

I have added many bookmarks to a Word 2003 document by Insert > Bookmarks. Anyway, when I try to use these bookmarks, only some of them are available. I'm doing Insert > Hyperlink and then clicking the Bookmark button. Only some of them display and I don't know why. Could someone help me with this? Thank you.

Hi CC,

If you go back to Insert|Bookmark, are the problem ones listed? If not, you've either deleted them or you didn't insert them correctly in the first place.

On the Tools menu, click Options, and then click the View tab.
Select the Bookmarks check box.

Hi suzzan,

Selecting Tools|Options|View doesn't show what the bookmarks are - it only reveals the bookmark placeholders (ie where they're located), and even then only for bookmarks that aren't hidden. If you've got two bookmarks in the same location or overlapping, that won't necessarily be apparent.
