Sharing calenders?
I have been asked to set up a shared calender in the office. Problem is that the only way I have found to do that is to use MS Office online but that requires an msn account( ie hotmail ) and they don't want to do that.
What they want: They need a calender that shows scheduled conference calls that everybody can look at and can change/add to. What we have: We are running Outlook on an Exchange Server and we have some users still using Outlook 2003 while the others are on Outlook 2007. I would assume there is an easy way to do this with an Exchange server. Figured it would be as simple as creating a calender that everybody has access to and can edit. Can't find proper info on it though. I always find forums and tips that direct you to Office Online. Any help would be much appreciated, thanks. Last edited by PG Croat; 10-29-2009 at 11:32 AM. |

Re: Sharing calenders?
Morning,
Maybe you could create a new mail account like "room 2". Use this account's calendar to plan the conf calls (calendar meetings). Give everybody access to this account's calendar so that they can add it in their own outlook From there they can see the conf call calendar / add entries etc... hope it helps... |
