Re: Match test document to final format document
Hi murtmack,
You can do this by basing both documents on the same template and ensuring that the formatting requirements are managed by the proper use of paragraph and character styles. Easy enough to do if a well-disciplned person or team is working on the documents; a pain otherwise. If there's a lack of discipline, you'd need a macro that: 1. ensures the correct template is attached to; and 2. the styles are correctly applied throughout, each document. Fortunately, with (2), you can get at least part of the way without a macro by checking the 'Automatically update document Styles' option under Tools|Templates & Add-ins.
