To free up disk space, outlook express can compact messages

There is an employee in the office that keeps getting this message every time he logs into windows. The problem is that he has Outlook 2007 and doesn't use Outlook Express at all. There's no account set up on Outlook Express, so why would he be getting this message?

Any info would be much appreciated, thanks

I used to get this too.

Try removing Outlook Express from the system. Go to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs > Add/Remove Windows Components

Wait for the wizard to load then scroll down and untick the box next to Outlook Express. Click Next and OE should be removed and hopefully you won't see that message anymore.

Sorry for the late reply, been backed up with several tasks lately. That doesn't work, I actually already tried that. I forgot to mention that, my bad.
