Custom install of Office 2007 will not work

Hi all

Hope someone can help ASAP. Im trying to simply install the Excel 2007 portion of the Office 2007 suite. Run up the setup.exe and all goes well to the point where I can select what components I want to install. At this point the normal options of Run from my computer, do not install etc are not available, only Run From My Computer is.

The OS is Windows XP, has Office 2003 SP2 with the 2007 Compatibility pack installed. Running the install as Admin on the local PC.

Can anyone tell me how to get the options back so that I can stop everything except Excel 2007 installing at all ?

Appreciate any help in advance !

Hello Jo90 and welcome to TSF!

I would uninstall the 07 compatibility pack then try re-installing Excel 07 again.
