Disk image of Office 2007??
My company is in the process of buying some new pcs and the supplier is prepared to flash all our new computers with a HD disk image.
Now this is what interests me. What happens if i provide a HD image of a legal copy of office 2007 in the disk image onto all 20 computers? Will i be able to use all 20 perfectly fine or will Office start complaining that i have 20 copies of office 2007 on 20 different computers? We'll need to know before we prep an HD image so that we can be prepared to buy 20 new office 2007 if needed. |

Re: Disk image of Office 2007??
Hi taskforce,
I'm very surprised your supplier hasn't answered this question for you. Basically, you can install the program wherever you like, but each installation must have a valid license (see the quote from the Office 2007 End User License Agreement below for the only permitted exception). In other words, you need 20 licenses. I suggest you investigate the MS Volume Licensing program for details. If your supplier is planning on providing 20 machines using the same license then I would immediately find a new supplier who knows how to do what you want legally. Quote:
