Should I upgrade from Windows Mail to Outlook 2007
Hello,
I just installed Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2007 on my computer. I have several questions about whether I should upgrade from Windows Mail to Outlook 2007: 1) Is Windows Mail part of the trial version of Microsoft Office that came with my recently-purchased hp? If I don't upgrade to Outlook 2007 by the end of my trial period (October 31), will I lose Windows Mail and all my messages, contacts, etc.? 2) What is the advantage/disadvantage of Windows Mail or Outlook 2007? Which is better/more user-friendly/less problematic? Which do you recommend? I have synced my Windows Mail to my free gmail account. Would Outlook also be compatible with that account? 3) Would I have to set-up a new syncing system with my gmail account if I upgraded to Outlook 2007? I had quite a few problems I had to troubleshoot the first time I did this with Windows Mail, and I'm hoping to avoid this happening again. 4) I have typed and organized at least 200 contacts in WM that I don't want to lose. Would I lose them if I upgraded to Outlook 2007? Would I have to re-enter them or re-organize them in any way? 5) I have a lot of email messages that I have created folders for and organized in WM. If I upgraded to Outlook 2007, would I lose these messages or have to re-organize them, and re-create folders? Many thanks
