office 2007 problem
Hi
I just recently installed office 2007, upgrading from 2003 cause windows 7 wont install the compatibility pack for it, but everytime i try to open it, it keeps reinstalling office. Ive searched google and found that some other people are having these same problems aswel and tried to solve it using the way people suggested but it still doesnt fix it. Can anyone help me with this problem please? Thanks |

Re: office 2007 problem
avernus....pls try this suggestions:
Go To start and run and then type in services.msc and then search for windows installer right click and make it automatic and start the services once that is done click on start and run and then type in msiexec.exe /unregister click on Ok and then msiexec.exe /regserver . you will not get anything on the screen as it is background process try to open office application you should be able to open without the windows installer prompt If this does not work got to regedit from start run rught click on HKEY classes root and give permission to everyone
