microsoft picture manager cannot edit
ive got several users that cant user picture manager to edit photos, just reverses the changes straight away.
the user can log on to other comps and it works find (even comps that other users are having the same problem) if the program is run as admin it works ok to any ideas? there has been antoehr thead i think bout this but that solution wouldnt work for me (solution was to change name of computer) ![]() thanks :) |

Hello...welcome to TSF!
You may try this suggestion. You'll have to get a permission from the big boss of your company if this acceptable. I don't know how strict it is in your company. You'll have to grant these Users Admin rights. You may log on to a User's computer and log on as an Administrator, go to Control Panel => Users and add that user in here and grant Admin rights. See if you can edit pictures in Picture Manager, but it doesn't have to end here. Now, to restrict this User to do any harm or modify settings like delete printers, clear IE Temp files/cookies, etc..... you may modify GPO from the OU of these Users. Please let me know.
