Baffling Word Problem
Hi everyone,
I have a baffling problem with MS Word (using both 2003 and 2007) and wanted to find out if anyone has come across this before or knows a solution. I have a template with a number of userforms that help users fill out the required areas of the template but I have 2 users that are having the same problem. The problem is that when they save the document generated from the template then re-open it, edit and then try to save it they get the following error message: "The save failed due to out of memory or disk space..." then listing the location of the file. There don't appear to be any differences between these users PC's and mine as we have exactly the same image but when I open the VBA window in word I see that there are 2 references to templates that have non-sensical names (i.e. F9BB71B3.dot) instead of the actual template that everyone else has no problem using. This is shown in the attachment ("word problem.jpg") When I check the references in the VBA Tools | References I see that the template file listed above shows as a missing references ("MISSING: F9BB71B3.dot"). This is shown in the attachment ("word problem 2.jpg"). If I de-select this and then save the document the same thing happens again with a completely new template name in the references. Any advice you can offer would be most appreciated. Many thanks, Dean... |

Re: Baffling Word Problem
It looks like they're trying to find something that isn't there. Try downloading/installing the template again. It looks as if it's being stored in your Temp folder. Not a good place to have something if you intend to use it again.
