Trouble installing Office 2007 on Vista

I just purchased Microsoft Office Enterprise 2007 but am having trouble getting it to install. I have a Dell Inspiron 1525 laptop running Vista. The program starts to install but then I get a message saying "setup cannot find powerpoint.en-us\PpLtR.cab" and it won't let me go any further. I removed Office 2003 but still get the message. What can I do?

Make sure the DVD is clean and not scratched.
Have you tried searching the DVD for the .cab folder?

Re: Trouble installing Office 2007 on Vista

The disk looks to be in good condition. I just found the .cab folder and copied it to a folder on my hard drive so I can direct the browser to that when it ask.

That didn't work either. It says invalid file.
