Can't delete message from Outbook

I am running XP and Outlook 2007. I have a 90 Mb message with a .PPT attached "stuck" in my outbox. i can't delete the message and it won't deliver. it has been there for several days. When i try to open the file Outlook reports that the file has started to transmit and can't be opened.

Any help will be appreciated.

Re: Can't delete message from Outbook

Close outlook and disconnect from the internet (either physically or by disabling the network device in use) and try again. If it still won't let you, then restart your computer (still disconnected from the internet) and try again.
