Looking for an Excel Formula
There must be a way to do this, but I just can't work it out hopefully someone here can.
What I want to do is if cell A1 is greater than B1 then C1 counts it as 1. Then if cell A2 is greater than B2 then make cell C2 count as 2. Also if cells A1 and A2 are greater than B1 and B2 then make cell A1 and A2 green. Hope this is clear enough. |

Re: Looking for an Excel Formula
Hi jimboayr,
C1 & C2 seem to require nothing more than a fairly basic formula, but what do you want C1 to display if A2 is NOT greater than B2, for example. The cell coloring can be handled by conditional formatting, but it's not clear from your post whether A1 has to be greater than B1 AND A2 has to be greater than B1 and B2 before that occurs, or A1 & A2 both have to be greater than B1 & B2. So, no, your requirements are not clear enough.
