I used "easy file transfer" to move legal copies of MS Home Office 2007 and Outlook 2007 to my new Dell desktop preloaded with Vista Basic. Thereafter, every time I open either program they reinstall & configure repeatedly until I cancel. I have so many other issues to deal with, I wish I had reinstalled my MS XP Pro. I usually try to solve my MS problems on my own, starting with MS DOS thru numerous Windows versions, but at 75, I would like to retire from debugging Windows and, in my time remaining, play with my grandchildren.
As usual, any assistance would be most welcome. JR |

Re: MS Home Office & Outlook keep reinstalling upon opening
you cannot use easy file transfer to move your software copies.
you have to use the disk to install the software. reinstall the Office software.. everything should work fine. |
