Outlook XP \ Express question
Hello,
How do i configure microsoft outlook XP and express to be able to send emails to specific addresses for example i want user1 to be able to send emails to only user2,3 and 4 and thats it no other users , companies , emails etc... Any help would be appreciated. thanks, ben. |

I don't think that that is possible ... without MS consulting, coming in to write an app to limit address access ... But your firewall software could possibly stop email access, out of your site. I know that we can stop specific info from coming into our site, so you would just reverse it going out ..... but this would be some what messy if some people need access to certain email ... Suggest you just write up a security policy and have your staff sign it !! We do that for porn/chat/explicite stuff/company documentation ...etc Make it sound serious enough to get there attention ... Good luck ... Paul Jamieson Toronto, Ont., Canada |

I agree with PJAMIES. If there is a way, it would probably have to be done in the firewall, with the internal ip and port 25 limitations.
How to do that....good question.
