Problem with Word and Excel

Hey,

I get a weird problem with word and excel. Whenever I start them they crash right away with the problem event name BEX. I've tried all the tips I've found (Resetting Normal.dot, resetting reg, reinstalling, repairing etc) but nothing has worked. The weird part is that it works to open documents and I can press New Document without any troubles, the problem only appears when I launch Word or Excel as an application.

Anyone got any ideas?

have you tried creating new windows user account and then checked there
when you removed office.. did u removed the office registry keys.

No, but I found that it was DEP. I also found that setting DEP to OptIn fixed the problem.
