ms word 2007 encoding problems

when i open any word document it is opening the word but with it an additional menu which shows this "Select the encoding which makes your document readable, and three options are given under this which says Windows(default) Ms dos and other encoding.
PLZ. help me as soon as u can. tnx.

Hi yashsxn58,

Try repairing your Office installation (Word Options|Resources|Diagnose).
