Office XP Professional won't install
Hello,
I had a problem with Microsoft Office XP Professional (an error message that the file MOS.DLL is not a valid windows image), so I tried repairing from the installation CD. This didn't work, so I uninstalled the existing version, and tried to reinstall from scratch. However, I get the message that I don't have permission to access the file HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Classes\giffile\shell\open\ddeexec, so the installation aborts. I don't want to start prodding around in the registry without knowing what I'm doing. Can anybody help? Thanks |

hi,
how about trying to download the windows installer cleanup utility? have you installed a different version of office before? Run the installer and it might work. ![]() Regards, joomla design |
