Using both single and double spacing

I am trying to create a reference list and the format needs to be single spacing within each source (which are 2-3 lines each) and double spacing between each source entry.

I set the entire document to double then tried to single space each entry individually but the whole document ends up being single spaced.

I attached the document.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

Re: Using both single and double spacing

In paragraph formatting set Line Spacing to Single and Spacing Before at 12pt.

Note: Some people prefer to use Spacing After instead of Spacing Before, and others often split the difference (ie. 6pt before and 6pt after).

Play around with the settings to see what looks best.

ALSO, you might want to go into the "Line and Page Breaks" tab and check the "Widow/Orphan control" and "Keep with next" boxes. These will prevent multi-line paragraphs from having one line by itself on a page.

Re: Using both single and double spacing

Can you just set the paragraph format to single space and then add a blank line between each source to achieve the double space?
