Word 2000 Blank page at end of table
Is there any way to get rid of an unnecessary blank page (automatic break) following a table that ends at the bottom of a page?
Thank you. |

Re: Word 2000 Blank page at end of table
Hi tweaking,
When you create a table in Word, the table must be followed by a new paragraph - that's just the way Word is designed. It's this new paragraph that's causing your extra page. What you can do to overcome this is: 1. remove any space before/after attributes 2. reduce to font point size to 1; and' 3. format the font as 'hidden' for the offending paragraph. If you create a style based on the above attributes and store it in your Normal.dot template, it'll be available for any other document where you need it.

Re: Word 2000 Blank page at end of table
Thanks for your help. It worked! Would never have thought of such a workaround! And a great idea to make a style for it. I think I definitely under use Styles.
I take it that the place you mean to remove any Space Before and After Attributes is in Paragraph Format. Am I correct? I didn't have anything other than 0 pt. there, anyway. Thanks. |
