Date Stamp

Right now i am using =IF(ISBLANK(D7),"", NOW()) formula to post the date once a cell is updated. I understand the NOW part is the reson why every day when i open up the sheet the day updates to the current day. I am trying to get this so when one of my agents adds there name in a cell the cell next to it will update with the current date and keeps that day. Is there a formula that i can use to add a Date Stamp and keep the date stamp?

All help would be great. Thanks

Re: Date Stamp

Hi and welcome.

The best way is to use a macro - plenty of examples on the web - try this one
