Cannot receive mail or create email account
I had to do a clean reinstall of winXP. After that I reinstalled MS 2000 Office. I backed up my pst file before reinstalling. I imported the pst file and everything was fine, ie, all my folders were intact.
Now comes the frustration. First, there is no link from Tools to Email Accounts. That is, when I click on "Tools" the menu does not show "Email Accounts". Therefore, I cannot create or recreate my email account and further more get email. Additionally, my Personal Address Book and Global Address Book are empty. However, this may be an issue to resolve later. Things I have tried: (1) uninstall MS 2000 and reinstall - some problem, (2) went to Tools > Services to see if there was a way to set up my POP and SMTP servers - no luck, |
