deleted legal office 2003..how to re-instal withouth CD
Hi,
I need urgently some help. I am training for business purposes with office 2003. Office 2003 was pre-installed by the computer company. My customer service guarantee is expired so I do not get any help from there. I deleted by mistake office 2003 when I wanted to instal 2007 recently. Both versions are legaly bought yet I do not have any installation CD for office 2003 and do not want to pay for it again. How can I re-instal office 2003 without the CD? I do have a lable on my computer with some codes and numbers, yet do not know if this is for office 2003 as it says Windows XP professional on the lable and gives a product key of 25 digets and a 14 digit number. Openoffice does not work for me as it shows a different design on screen and a 60 days trial version does not give me enough time. Any suggestions? |

Re: deleted legal office 2003..how to re-instal withouth CD
Well I'd just do a system restore to a time before uninstalling office. Other than that, there is no way to install a legit application (unless it's a downloadable application from an online vendor) without a CD to start with.

You would be able to do it with recovery cds if they came with the computer. Though that would wipe out everything on there, so would have to backup your files. Or like djaburg said a system restore would be the easiest way. Other than that you need the office cd to install it again
